Rebekah understands violin instruction as nurturing the whole musician; in addition to learning repertoire and developing superior technique, her students learn to sight-read, understand music theory, and improvise. In rare moments of generosity, she is even known to teach a fiddle tune or two. Rebekah teaches Suzuki violin and viola lessons at her home studio, which is located in Greensboro just around the corner from the Friendly Center. Private lessons are offered weekly (year-round) with breaks coordinated with the Guilford County Schools. Group classes are offered in two 9 week sessions at Wesleyan Christian School in High Point. Rebekah believes strongly that her students should be involved as music-makers in their community, and frequently organizes performances at nursing homes, parks, and farmers markets. They also have an annual performance of the National Anthem at the Greensboro Grasshoppers!
